About Me

Lizzie Marie Ramos
Ms. Ramos’ practice primarily focuses on consumer bankruptcy and family law matters. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is bilingual, as she is fluent in Spanish and English.
She began her legal career in Puerto Rico representing numerous banking and financial institutions in the Puerto Rico courts and administrative agencies.
After relocating to South Florida in 2015, she worked almost four years as a law clerk and ultimately, a Foreclosure and Litigation Lead, at one of the largest woman-owned creditor law firms in Florida, serving creditors and loan servicers in both Florida and Puerto Rico in all aspects of collections, foreclosure, eviction, title, litigation, and compliance.
After being admitted to the Florida Bar in late 2019, Ms. Ramos joined the Law Offices of Barry S. Mittelberg, PA as an Associate Attorney, where she shifted her focus from representing financial institutions to representing individuals throughout the State of Florida, with an emphasis on personal injury.
While working at the Law Offices of Barry S. Mittelberg, PA, she was also introduced to the world of consumer bankruptcy. This experience ignited her passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of financial hardship. She discovered a deep sense of purpose in assisting clients through difficult times and decided to dedicate her career to this area of law.
